Just 22% of Americans have a positive perception of corporate reputation as it stands now, according to [pdf] a survey released in February 2012 by Harris Interactive. Only 7% of respondents rated their perception of corporate reputation a 6 (5%) or 7 (2%) on a 7-point scale, with 7 representing “very good.” By contrast, 31% rated their perception a 2 (16%) or a 1 (15%), representing a 19% increase from 26% of respondents in 2011.
